Outlook Express Newsgroup Setup:
1) Start your Outlook Express Program.
2) Select TOOLS From the top menu.
3) Select ACCOUNTS from the sub-menu.
4) Click ADD > Select NEWS.
5) Type Your Name In the Provided Field. Click NEXT.
6) Type Your Email Address In The Provided Field. Click NEXT.
7) Type In The NNTP Server (news.starstream.net). Click NEXT..
8) Click The FINISH button.
9) Your news account will appear under the news tab.
10) You will be prompted to download newsgroups. Select YES to download available newsgroups.
11) The newsgroups will begin to download. This may take awhile. Your machine is now setup to receive your newsgroups.
Netscape 6 Newsgroup Setup:
1) Launch Netscape Navigator 6 2) Click TASKS > MAIL & NEWSGROUPS
3) Click Click EDIT > Click EDIT > MAIL & NEWSGROUPS ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Click EDIT > MAIL & NEWSGROUPS ACCOUNT SETTINGS
4) Click NEW ACCOUNT
5) Select NEWSGROUP ACCOUNT, click NEXT.
6) Type your name in the field provided. 7) Type your Email address next underneath the Name field. Click NEXT.
8) In the SERVER NAME field, type "news.starstream.net". Click NEXT.
9) Type in a Friendly name for this account. You may use the default provided. Click the NEXT button.
** Follow steps 1-13 to create additional email accounts ** 14) Your new account is now listed in the mail tab window. Click the CLOSE button.
10) Verify the following information is correct. If so, click the FINISH button. 11) You have now configured Netscape 6 For newsgroup access.
