Wave uses fiber optic technology from our offices to establish data links with neighborhoods located in our service area. Signals from the location in the neighborhood are then extended to homes or businesses over our coaxial infrastructure that also carries our Cable TV signals.
Since Wave uses the latest fiber optic technology, you are assured to receive the fastest residential internet connection available. As we continue to expand and build our fiber optic network, you will see new and exciting services that will be made possible right through your cable TV lines!
* Customers who reside in a 1-way area (neighborhoods not yet upgraded to fiber optics) require the use of a phone line while online to transmit the upstream data, downstream data flows through your cable line. Customers who reside in a 2-way area (neighborhoods already upgraded to fiber optics) do not need the use of a telephone line. All data is passed through your cable TV lines.
